Disney HM

Anyone thinking of going to disney for hm? not sure how i feel about it....

A girlfriend of mine did this for her honeymoon and they kind of regreted it because it was a trip they had been on before and it wasnt real romantic. They wished they had don something different.

I'm not too crazy about it..although it really depends on you guys and your personalities...

For a HM, I would prefer going some place romantic and that we've never been before...

I have and i am!!! FH hates the beach and the sun and we both love disney movies and rides and sruff.....i went once when i was 18 and loved it and he went just this past june with his fam and loved it and thought it would be a good trip for us!! i agree it`s not the most romantic trip but any trip is what you make of it so it could end up being the best trip of ur lives!!

FH wants to go and I love it there too, but would like 2 try somewhere new. Not sure what else we can do since we are tight on funds...any suggestions?

btw...we r not beach people either...we would burn 2 a crisp on a beach for 7 days...lol!!

yup thats FH too!!!! To make it diffrent then your typical disney vacation why don`t you look into the disney cruise? this was you get to see some diffrent things not have to spend all 7 days cooking on the beach and you will get diffrent service i`m sure on the boat then you would in the hotel.

we are looking into the land/sea package and the cruise goes to their private island, which i heard is fabulous and the bahamas...no other disney cruises leave that month

i was going to a private island in the bahamas this past weekend and got screwed make sure you have your passport!!!! but that does sound awesome!

FH and I are going to Disney World and going on the Disney Cruise for our HM. We splurged a little and booked the one bedroom suite on the cruise and the Grand Floridian.

We are doing an AI resort in Mexico for 7 nights and 8 days. But we recently started looking into adding afew days to our HM and stopping in Disney for like 3 days. I have to tell ya, I am pretty excited about it!! But, I also would not do just Disney - but maybe you can combine things like we are. So, we will have the romantic, tropical part and then the fun part at the end!

one of the 07 brides went to disney for a week and jamaica for a week. she loved it... her name is aug07 but she isnt on very much anymore...

we are going for HM. it was our first trip as a couple so its fitting we make it our first trip married

both of us arent beach people, we need to be active.

FH really wanted to and I said no. I want top go somewhere we haven't been and won't go a lot - so we're gonna do a cruise.

The compromise was that we'll go for our 1 year anniversary

We wanted to do it..but fh's dad and step mom gave us their timeshare in Hawaii so we jumped on it.

We love Disney and can't wait to go again. It was the first vacation we'd ever been on together..soo much fun!!

my friend went and she LOVED it! They got passes to all the parks, stayed in a really nice suite and did it all. she said she woulodnt have had it any other way...

Shes not the type to lay on the beach...shes needs to move annd have fun...but she said that she could relax there too, which was nice.

I personally wouldn't be into the Disney HM. I think of Disney as more of a family place, not so much a romantic getaway place.

We're doing an adventurous hm...off to the austrailian outback and rainforest!

It's not that we're not beach people, just wanted to do something different for ours. We;ve been to the bahamas and aruba before so we didn't want to do the carribbean and one of my bm's and her hubby live in hawaii now, so we can go there another time.

IMO, I'd rather go somewhere I've never been for the HM, but it really depends on what you and your fh are into and what you'd be happy doing.
