I was just wondering, is anyone making reservations now for when they are in disney? I was looking and, many place say to book ahead. Is this necessary for places without dinner shows? Also anyone know best places to rsvp for sit down meals?

Re: disney honeymooners
almost every sit down dinner at disney you will need to make an advanced dining reservation. We saw so many people the last time we were in disney get turned away because the rest. was booked.

Re: disney honeymooners
Congrats on your disneymoon!!! We're definitely making our ADRs (advanced dining reservations) now. Places book up fast. We're old pros at this haha. The best places to eat kind of depends on your schedule, where you're staying etc. I've been to Disney a million times, so FM me if you need suggestions!!

Re: disney honeymooners
2010er crashing but I'm kinda a pro when it comes to disney lol
I'm not honeymooning in Disney but FH and I are members of the DVC (Disney Vacation Club) and are there about 2-3 times a year. Take it from someone who has spent their fair share of time in Disney, if you know where you want to eat DEF make reservation ASAP they book quickly. I'm not sure what type of food you like or your budget but a few places that FH and I find amazing are:
Narcoosies (@the Grand Floridian- most beautiful hotel ever!) Coral Reef (in epcot) Chef Mickeys (@ contemporary)
There are sooo many more. Have Fun!!!!!! and remember... it's the happiest place on earth

Re: disney honeymooners
FH has never been to disney. I went when I was eight. So we really don't know where we want to go. We went through all the places today, and are going to settle on them tonight. I will call to make reservations tomorrow. We are going to leave one or two nights open for room service, or just a quick bite. I am sure we will be exhausted. Thanks for the info. We are defin goin to Narcooces (sp?) the last night we are there. Is 7pm an ok time to make reservations? Any suggestions?

Re: disney honeymooners
I don't know if you know anything about the dining plan but it's a good thing to look into. FH and I get it every time we go. And Narcoosies is on the plan, it costs 2 sit down points but the dessert there is worth it alone! I think its $37 per person per day and you each get one snack, one counter service (they tend to be very generous with these, i.e.: FH and I always get the refillable mug (SO worth it!) so they'll allow us to get another side or snack to go with the meal) and one sit down.
I'm a plethora of Disney info so feel free to FM!
edited to add the fact that im sooo jealous that you're going. It is the most amazing place in the world to me (FH proposed at epcot and we'll be back in august!)

Re: disney honeymooners
I hear that the restaurant at the Polynesian and the Living Seas at Epcot are both a must. I would make them in advance, just to be safe.
