Do you think FH and I should rent a car while we are down there? We are staying at a timeshare which is on the disney property but isn't a disney hotel so there won't be shuttles. Meaning we'd have to take a cab to and from the parks. Would it just be cheaper and more convenient to rent a car and just pay for the parking?
I would rent a car. I think it would be more convenient and won't make you feel 'trapped' in case you want to go someplace other than Disney parks. You never know what might come up. Also, what you'd pay in taxi fares might come out to more than renting a car. JMO.
Taking cabs there would be more expensive then renting a car.. I just had friends come back and experience this.. Definately rent a car!! Enjoy!
