Disney Question
We're taking FH's 7 year old daughter to Disney in August. Does anybody know which restaurants or shows or whatever we need to make reservations for that we absolutely shouldn't miss with her? I'm not Disney savy for kids and I don't want her to miss out on the good stuff. I booked the bippity boppity boo boutique and the Royal table lunch at Cinderella's castle. Any ideas for anything else would be great. TIA

That is in Disney, you just stand on main street...it either immediately proceeds or immediately follows the fireworks over Cinderella's castle

This is a show - you don't need reservations, but you should get there pretty early to get good seats. They say to get there 1 hr to 1 1/2 hrs before to get the best seats. This is an AMAZING show and you should definitely not miss it!! There are food stands in the theater (it is all outside) and you can even bring food in. The best thing to do is grab food, get a seat and eat while you wait. Have fun!!

The Lion King show was spectacular! It's in Animal Kingdom & you don't need a reservation for it.

We are also taking my FH 6 year old on August. All that she can talk about it wanting to do bippity boppity boo boutique and the Royal table lunch at Cinderella's castle. We also are going to Chef Mickey @ the contemporary. I heard that it was great. Just remember no matter what you do when you goto DIsney it will be a vacation to remember. Good Luck!!!!

Re: Disney Question
Cinderella's table was fantastic. Some other cool restaurants are Garden Grill in The Land in Epcot (the room rotates completely around every hour), the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian Hotel (a lot of British characters-Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh..). My fiance and I are Disney FANATICS, and we went three times last year. A great website to check out is allearsnet.com. It has an incredible amount of informations about shows, restaurants, tours and other stuff. Also minigolfing there is a lot of fun. The one at Blizzard Beach water park is supposed to be really good, my fiance and I have been to Fantasia Gardens by the Swan & Dolphin hotels and thought that was really cute too.
Good luck and have a great time!

Re: Disney Question
Mickey's Philharmagic at Magic Kingdom, A Bug's Life at Animal Kingdom, Honey, we shrunk the audience at EPCOT, Disny Quest - an indoor amusement center at Downtown Disney - great for a rainy day or at night.

I've done The Contemporary with FH's family for the last couple of years, and the kids love it. From what I understand you need to make reservations early. This past year they couldn't get a dinner reservation and ended up having to do breakfast.
