Re: Disney world for a honey moon?
I cant help you with a travel agent, but I know lots of brides who have done Disney for their HM. FI and I are staying in Disney for 3 days before we leave for our cruise -- so its part of our HM. The resorts there are beautiful (especially the Grand Floridian--but all of them are great). And remember, you can do things like couples massages when you get tired of the parks. Everyone's idea of a HM is different, so if you love Disney--go for it! It can be as fun or relaxing as you want.
They have an adults only strip of bars and clubs for night life and theres always stuff to do during the day. I think its an awesome honeymoon trip--you and FI can have fun and be kids, or relax at you hotel and get some sun (and disney can be very romantic too!)

Re: Disney world for a honey moon?
we're doing Disney for our honeymoon! We're doing a week at Disney's Beach Club Villas in a one bedroom villa (king bed and jacuzzi!). Our vacation package is just under $4,000 for November, including some of the meals, the tickets, the rooms (not airfare... that should just be about $200 each rountrip)... then spending money. And we're registering for our HM, so that should help with the expenses. We're doing a swimming with the dolphins thing at Epcot, the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and all different dinners at Epcot and Downtown Disney - along with the parks and a 'down' day at the awesome pool at our resort! We can't wait! We're also having dinner at Cinderella's Castle!
I hear that, upon arrival, they knock at your door with balloons with a note attached that says 'Congratulatoins on your wedding, Love Cinderella and Prince Charming'... and they treat you like GOLD since you're on your honeymoon!!

I am fairly biased, I LOVE Disney, and my FH and I are spending part of our honeymoon there. It is a great place. There is so much to do!
I don't think 2007 prices are available yet, but a GREAT planning website is www.allearsnet.com. This has a TON of info!
Good Luck! HTH!!!!

Re: Disney world for a honey moon?
I'm also doing Disney for part of my HM. We are doing 5 nights at the Grand Floridian, and then we are leaving on a 7 night cruise (not a Disney cruise) from there. FH has never been and I went a million years ago, so we wanted to experience it as a couple before we do as a family!
We cannot wait for our trip! I can't recommend a TA, but best of luck to you.

We still have a long way till we plan it, BUt right now we are thinking of doing it for part of our honeymoon. We'll probably go to the Caribbean for 6 days, and 5 in disney on the way back.

We're doing the same exact thing except reversed, first week in Disney and second in Aruba. We booked through Liberty Travel in Garden City, we love them. We got such a great deal through Tom....he works Thursdays and Sundays. It's FH first time to Disney and my millionth but it'll be so cute and so much fun just watching how excited FH is going to be

Re: Disney world for a honey moon?
We're going to Disney for our HM this November. We booked directly through Disney because they were able to give us the best deal. I would also try going through AAA to see what kind of rates they have. FM with any specific questions if you'd like.

Re: Disney world for a honey moon?
I'm a huge Disney fan as well and was considering that as an option for our honeymoon. FH said if I really wanted to go that he would be fine with it. I think it's a great idea if you are both up for it!
