Disney World HM

IF you are going to Disney World for a HM are you staying on property and if yes then where are you staying?

FH and I are considering DIsney as a HM option. I have been many times and can't decide where we should stay!!

we're going make a stop in Disney for like 3 days on our way to St Lucia. We're going to stay in Disney property at the Yacht/Beach Club. We've stayed at pretty much every WDW resort and the Yacht Club is by far our fave.. not to mention most romantic/least kids!

we r stayin at the polynesian..i would totally recommend staying on disney i know its more money but it def has perks..hth good luck

I agree.. staying on Disney property is def. worth it. You can add on things like the dining package and wine options and you get perks in the park. Plus the deluxe hotels are gorgeous and the convenience of being so close is just awesome. From our hotel we can walk to Epcot (literally like 3 minutes on a cute trail) or take a boat to Epcot or Hollywood Studios. I love it.

We stayed at the Grand Floridian... It was beauitful. We were right next to disney. We has a wonderful time there. I def reccomend it. We also went next door to check out the Polynesian and I think we are going to stay there next time. It looked awesome. Its has more of a Hawian theme. The Grand Floridian is a bit more upscale and is more set up like french quaters. I def reccomend any of the disney resorts. Using all of their transportation for free is a real plus!!

Thanks everyone!!

If we decide to go we will say on property. I have been every year for the last 8 yrs and always stay on property. We just can't decide which one to stay in. we are leaning towards the polynesian (never have stayed there).

FH is not much of a 'relaxing' type. so I was thinking that Disney can give us a little of both.

If staying on property my top 3 are Grand Floridian, Polynesian and Wilderness.

After reading these I wanna add that it def. depends on your style. The Polynesian is really nice, but more fun and relaxed. The Grand Floridian is gorgeous and very elegant and fancy. The Yacht and Beach Club is very romantic and classy, but not as formal. Contemporary I personally just like nothing about.. rooms are cool, but hotel itself I'm not a fan of. The Boardwalk is a deluxe hotel but more of a party place.. nice amenities, but much more casual. AKL is really nice (a lil out of the way) and perfect for animal lovers... So yeah.. thats my $.02 I loveee Disney
