Disneyworld honeymoon?

We're planning to go to Disneyworld for our honeymoon because we have never been there and we love parks....any suggestions or tips?

If you can afford it, stay at the Polynesian. It has a south seas theme, so it feels like you are on two vacations.

wear sneakers!! There is so much walking involved. Always have a pancho with you at all times. it loves to poor at the worst times. Take as many pics with the characters as you can. If there are little children hogging them, push them out of the way! lol

Tell every worker there that you are on your honeymoon! Start when you make the reservation. Get the bride and groom hats and wear them at all time. Disney really makes every effort to go above and beyone to make your hm special.

I say stay at either the Polynesian or the Grand Floridian.... they are both amazing!

Post your question on newlywed because I think WC0143 went there as part of her honeymoon.

I just love Disney. Even tried to talk FH into getting married there instead of Vegas(just the two of us)but it didnt fly. Then he agreed but I know he wouldn't be happpy so Vegas here we come! We just took the kids there in August and had a blast. I have plenty of Disney info if you need it. I would definetly stay at one of their resorts they do alot for the honeymooners but if it's out of your budget there are plenty of amazing hotels outside the parks. We have 5 kids so staying in Disney was not an option for us. Good Luck and I hope you have a great time

I thought of another one- get a guide book (I like the Passporter, although the unofficial guide is the most comprehensive) and read up on restaurants before you go. Disney has a unique reservation system. You can make priority seatings 90 days in advance. Some of the more popular meals (Cinderella's breakfast) get booked quickly.

Flaunt Flaunt Flaunt.. Buy the mickey and minnie wedding ears and make sure everyone knows you just got married!! My sis went there for her honeymoon, and I'm going there for mine. You will get a lot of attention, congratulations and stuff from the cast members as well.. Also, bring sneakers and try the rehitching cermeony at the Land Pavilion during the character ice cream social. It's like redoing your vows, but mickey is the master of ceremony.
