Displaying pics at reception??

Is anyone putting pics of you and FH at the reception? I was thinking of doing this with some of our engagement shots but have never seen it done.

I've seen it done.I went to a wedding where the couple put a couple of pictures up during the cocktail hour at the table where the seating placecards were.It was nice.

At my wedding hall they have like 20 flat screen tvs and we will be having a slide show at some point of the night and we will also have our E party Scrap Poster creation around by a TREe or something!

Im having a blown up e-picture of us for people to write us a little note around the edge. A nice keepsake.. nothing too elaborate.

I did a scrapbook style photo wall. It was a huge project, but it came out great & everyone loved it .. including my DH ... it was a surprise!

I like the picture idea. What do you think of pictures on the tables...maybe around the centerpeice or nicely put together on some clips in the center of the table? Cute idea or annoying?

My brother put their engagement pics around the guest book on the little table. It was cute.

My mom came up with the idea of having an 8x10 frame with a collage of pics of us. I just don't know where we would put it.

I am actually putting framed pictures throughout out reception site. The Milleridge has several antique tables around and they have a grand piano and so I will put pictures in frames on the tables on the piano etc. It will make it feel like portraits in a home and people can look at them while they are mingling. I didn't want one place with just a bunch of pictures of us.

My florist actually suggested this to us to decorate the fireplace in the reception room, but I am not crazy about the idea myself so we are not doing it. But he said that it is a popular thing to do, so if that's what you want, I say go for it.

Yes- we are going to have 6 pictures of each of us and then one of us together in all different sizes in different frames on a table b/f you enter the room.

I found this frame..so I was thinking of putting in 3 pics on maybe one of the entrance tables..

our cocktail hour room had a fireplace and we decorated the mantle with pictures. We put up baby pictures through the present. We also included our parent's wedding pictures and our grandparent's wedding pictures. Everyone loved it!!

We have multiple mantles at our reception, so I've been buying ornate & decorative frames to display mostly black and white photos of our family (both parents' & grandparents' wedding photos will definitely be displayed.)
