Re: Displaying/Storing Cookbooks
I wish I had the space to build a little bookshelf to display my cookbooks. Now, they are just stacked in my pantry closet. Would love to hear other ideas

Re: Displaying/Storing Cookbooks
we actually got a gift basket one year and after we ate all the stuff e saved the basket and plan on using it in our kitchen to display cookbooks. Its pretty big the basket so it will hold MOST of the cookbooks.

Re: Displaying/Storing Cookbooks
I have an extra piece in my dining area that the microwave is on and on the side of the microwave, I have my cook books. I could use a shelf though for them since I have been buying a lot lately.

Re: Displaying/Storing Cookbooks
My cookbooks are in the kitchen on a set of corner shelves. I highly recommend keeping them in the kitchen if you have the room. It's so handy! But try to keep them far away from the stove, because they will get greasy after a while.

Re: Displaying/Storing Cookbooks
I *just* 'created' a new place for some of my smaller books the other day. A few months ago, I purchased a small wooden 'over the sink' shelf. However, b/c of the size and position of my kitchen faucet, I could not use the shelf
Well, if discovered that I can use the shelf at the far end of my countertop, to the right of my stove, where I often place a cookbook or recipe anyway, when I am cooking. I have my cookbooks now placed on that shelf, and I have the added benefit of not losing my counterspace either! I'll have to snap a pic, so you can see
ETA: this is also MUCH more convenient for me, since my cookbooks were previously stored above the stove, and I'd always have to ask my DH to get something down for me! Ahhh...the independence is wonderful!

Re: Displaying/Storing Cookbooks
I have a baker's rack with several shelves and my cookbooks are on one of the shelves. I also threw away a couple of cookbooks that I had for a long time but never used. I hate clutter in the kitchen (and everywhere else for that matter.)
