I was thinking of putting the disposable camera on select table and a couple on the bar. What do you guys think? I feel like most of the time the pictures end up being of half eaten meals. But I do think sometimes there are great pictures that the guests take.

We put them on all the tables and only got 2 or 3 pics of food out of 140 pictures. Some people may not go up to the bar.

If you don't want to put them on the table, set up a basket with a bunch of cameras by your guest book with a little sign asking them to take pictures and to return the camera to the basket when they're done. You could even make up a little poem-something like this (this is corny, just made it up):
Grab a camera and take some photos It's really lots of fun Your creativity will earn you kudos Just return it to the basket when you're done

i like the basketidea - we haven't deicded how to do it yet but thats a nice one since not everyone is into taking pictures and those who may be are apt to take nicer ones!!

i thought of doing them at every table but i know i'm going to get a lot of useless pics. so i think im just gunna 'select' a group of people who will all get cameras. they can be in charge of taking random pictures alll night

I think putting a couple at the bar sounds great maybe you will have great bartendars that will take great photos
