dissapointment in Jonesbeach boardwalk dinner- vent
definately not going back there for lunch or dinner, but the brunch review sound good...
went with FILs, FBIL, FH & grandma yesterday for dinner there.
first they say its cash only cause their machines are out(not their fault though).
the waitress comes to take our drink order and takes ALL but grandmothers order(the whole reason we went there was it was grandma's gift).. she comes back with our drinks, and is about to leave again, then we say she needs a drink... so then we all have our drinks and guess what.. grandma and my drink have RED LIPSTICK ON THEM!, and one of us takes the glass, and touches something against it and guess what IT COMES RIGHT OF, so we have dirty glasses that were not washed at all, because it was easily coming off(neither me nor grandma had any lipstick on). the waitress did not offer a free drink because of this, she only wanted to bring a clean glass to the table... we have our dinners, me, fh and ffil all get this chicken which is supose to be chicken in tomato and capers, there is barely any tomato, and its basically in a bland tasting gravy, the veggitables that it came with are the ones you buy in THE FREEZER section at supermarket. $17 for a dinner that looks like it came out of a tv dinner box.then we opted against the $7 a piece dessert and went home.
