Distinctive Floral vs Flowers by Brian

I am a Crest Hollow bride and these are two of the approved floral vendors, so i have to stick to them. There is also another one but i wanted to compare these two.

Any experiences with them? Good/bad??

I would like to know this too. I am also a CH bride. Oh, and does this mean we have to get our bouquets from them too or is this just for ceremony/reception/centerpiece flowers?

Those are the only 2 I looked at two. Distinctive threw in more things for me than FBB did and is decorating my ceremony alot better. What kind of threw me off about FBB was how they were adamant about putting flowers on my cake saying its free though I kept telling them I didn't want any.

I'd say distinctive all the way..when I met with Maria she was soo nice and excited and helped me bring my vision to life. I've showed her some pictures of what I wanted. I've have no worries when booking with them. I feel they went above and beyond for me and they do fabulous work..tell Maria u were recommended by a liw bride

Im booked with Distinctive and Im vey happy. Kelly was great to work with and she really helped bring a vision to life bcuz I had no idea what I wanted. Prices were good also. I had an appt at FBB after Distinctive but never went because I was so happy with everything I knew I didnt need to look further.

Although the florist u mentioned are the rec florist for your RH are u sure u MUST use either of them? Sometimes even though a RH has a preferred list of vendors doesnt mean u HAVE to book 1 of them. For my RH I havent booked any of their rec vendors as of yet. Only 1 will prob be the DJ.

Actually the florist is the only one i do have to book an approved vendor as it is on the contract. The rest of my vendors are not on their preferred list.

Ahh I see. Ive heard great things about FBB also and they are on the rec list of my RH as well. Go with who your most comfortable with and who gives u the best price or created the best vision for u. Good luck!

I am a crest hollow bride and I booked with Distinctive. My sit down with Maria was great. She gave me so many ideas I didn't even think were possible with flowers. They gave me a lot more for my money then FBB. They are also very accommodating with me since my church is in ridgewood and my wedding is in woodbury. I also received emails from Maria recently of some bouquet ideas for my girls since I am having a fall wedding. I like that I wasn't just an appointment, but rather she is still thinking about me and touching base with me.

We booked with Kelly at Distinctive Floral. Loved Kelly's ideas and what we are getting for our budget.
