I ordered the doves today. Thanks so much for the number and information. He is so much less expensive then others I called that is why I didn't order them sooner. He mentioned how beautiful you looked. What make-up artist did you use? I have some other questions for you e-mail me directly if you have a few free minutes today [email protected]. Thanks.

Diva & Nicola - Info on Dove Release
I justed contacted Wedding Wings today regarding a price for the dove release. I was told it was $200 for 22 birds, is that what you were quoted? I can't throw rose petals at my church so I have been trying to come up with something different and this sounds great. Any info you can pass along would be great. Thank you!

Frank also has 12 doves for $100.00. That is what I went with. I cannot express to you, how beautiful it was. It was the best spent $100 bucks! Diva11236

Nicola... I've been looking for you!
I have been looking for you in the chat but I only know your around when I see a posting. I will e-mail you. That is great you got the doves. It is really a great addition. How is the planning? My makeup artist is a teacher in Trinidad and in NY he worked with my MOH because she does hair so he did makeup. So she recommended him. He lives in Trinidad and only flew up for the wedding. If he was here I would recommend him to everyone. He was that good. Talk to ya later diva11236

Thanks Diva
Thanks for responding! Frank is supposed to call me tonight so I'll ask him about the 12 dove release. I am glad to hear that the release worked out really well. Did you and your husband each release a bird or did you release 1 bird together. If you have pictures, we would love to see them!

No problem Jackie... Here's what we did!
You have two options: 1)You and your husband can hold one bird each and release them together... Or 2)You can hold a basket with the two doves and your husband can lift the cloth covering them and release them that way. The other 10 birds are in another basket and you can have someone from the wedding party maybe a flowergirl pull the string and release the other doves. I chose option 2 and held the basket while my husband uncovered them. Hope this helps! diva11236

Hi- I really would love to have doves at my wedding. My church wont allow flowers or rice either. Frank sounds like a good price. Did he have a little message that he or someone read explaining the symbol of the doves? One place I called did that- but it was $250 for 12 doves.Welcome New Vendors
