Divorced Parents

Ok so my parents have been divorced for 20 years. They are civil when they need to be and they will be civil for the wedding.

Here is my problem:
I want a pic ( me, mom, and dad) for my album. Mom says that she doesn't want to take a pic with dad. She is seeing someone else, great guy too, dad gets along with him. I told her that this is very important to me, she says'sorry i don't think its going to happen' I tell her she is being ridiculous and she should suck it up for 2 min and take the pic becuase its going in my album not the parent album. She suggests that I should take pic with dad and separate pic with her. I dont' want to fight but thats not what i want. Any suggestions .

My rents are divorced as well. They took pics with me for my graduation and it looks so weird now when I look back on it. So personally I don't want pics of both of them with me on my day. But if it's that important to you I would let things simmer down for a bit and then have another talk with your Mom about it and tell her it's your day and it's important to you so she should do this for you.

I am going through the same thing. But the good thing is if you have a good photographer they can take one pic with you and your mom and one pic with you and your dad and they could put it together so it looks like you all took the pic together. If that is something you really want but your mom wont do it. Good Luck it will work out
