DIY: a work in progress

Here's my cardbox (so far) that I've been working on FOREVER. I just had to re-do the middle layer because I screwed up the slot for the cards.

Question: Would you put the slot for cards in the middle later or on the top? If its in the middle, what should I put on the top?
