I'm making scrap book wedding albums to give to my parents (who are divorced,) and DH parents. For the grandparents I just wanted to give them simple regular albums that you just slide the pictures in and thats it. I searched high and low for those frilly albums that do that. My sister-law who married my brother has one for her wedding album, but I had no luck them. So I went to AC Moore and picked up theses little white photo albums at very little cost. Here's ite deal. I want to decorate the outside of them a little, because they are so plain. Do you suggest cloth cover or paper? I want to glue it on top, and add a few decorations, to make it look nice. Has anyone done this before? I need to know, cloth or paper or do you have a better idea. Thanks!

Re: DIY album
If you want to by them you can check out the flea market on Sunrise... but if you make them I say use cloth!

Re: DIY album
Cloth would look so elegant but be careful for stains etc

Re: DIY album
I would try a fancy paper to cover, especially if the outside of the albums are thin or flexible.

Re: DIY album
Mmm both cloth and paper are sooo fragile I would put a laminate over it or a slipcover.
