DIY Baskets w/pics

---

Posted by bubberflys

So I used this rainy day to make my Bubbles basket and my flip flop basket. My only issue, the flip-flop basket only holds a little less than half the flip flops, guess I will need to make a 2nd!

What do you think?

I can't take credit for the poem... I stole it from this site somewhere. Thanks to who ever came up with it 1st. There is a clearer pic of the poem in my album.

LOOKS GREAT! What does the poem say? and where did you get your flip flops? i want to do something like that also, but want to find a cheap place to get slippers/flip flops

great job, where did you get the nice bags for the flip flops?

---

I got the organza bags from

http://www.yourorganzabag.com/

They had a sale a few weeks back, so they were super cheap then, but they aren't badly priced now. You just have to measure how big your largest flip-flop pair is to get the right size.

Love it! This is one DIY i will def be doing! Where did you get the flipflops?

---

Got them on ebay from a wholesale vendor. With shipping and handling they were abt $1 each, and all ready mixed with a decent spread of sizes.

I was also looking at a web site dollardays.com I think, they sell them wholesale too and were about the same price.

---

How may pairs did you buy?
TIA

---

I had gotten a wholesale bunch of 72 flip flops. I have 175ppl on the guest list so that should me more than enough. They came with
12 pairs of size 5/6
30 pairs of size 7/8
24 pairs of size 9/10
6 pairs of size 11

And for anyone else who want's the poem it's

'Dance around with your pretty shoes, and never miss a beat. But when the ache, just take a break, and wear these on your feet.'

Again, I cannot take credit, I found it on this site from another bride.

Enjoy!
