DIY cake topper pics?

DIY cake topper pics?

I bought a silver B monogram cake topper on ebay, and some jewels / crystals at michaels. I hope to decorate it tonight. I don't think I want to cover the whole thing in crystals. Anyone have any pics of some that have crystals in some areas? I've seen it done but not sure how to do it myself.

And what kind of glue should I use?? crazy glue? hot glue gun?

IMO do not use hot glue - its a PITA when doing stones and the strings it leaves always drives me nuts! They make a glue for crystals or you can use tacky glue - its a little thicker than normal school glue - goes on white but dries clear

Maybe try using the glue dots under the actual crystals. They make them super small and u can even cut them with a nail scissor.

Aleen's makes a special glue specifically for rhinestone work. I used it and it was great...
