DIY Card Box

I want to make our card box. Did any one make theirs and want to share any pictures for inspiration please. TIA.

DIY Card Box - Long Island Weddings

Fh and I made ours it's not finished finshed yet so I don't have pictures yet but will post once we are finished. We have a movie theme so we bought a wood box painted it black, too sturdy carboard to make a 'lens' to attach to the front, we attached two film reels to it. drilled a slit in the top for cards to go. We are working on attaching it to a tripod. Then just final touches like Painting our initials on it and I have decorating ribbon that looks like reel film to put on the reels.

You have to post pictures of this when it's done. It sounds amazing!

Love this idea!! Please post pics soon, even if they are 'in progress' pics.

I made mine from paper mache oval boxes from Michaels and painted them with navy acrylic paint. It took 3 coats, but I was happy with it.
