When I started searching for beachy card holders I came across this lantern:
But is was $175!!! Not in the budget. So I thought that maybe I can make it. So with some help from my dad, a couple of things from Home Depot and a can of spray paint we made one...for $25! I love it! When the wedding is over I'll stick a pillar candle in it and have it in the house.

that looks awesome! Did you get the paint, lantern and starfish all at home depot?
The lantern came from HomeGoods, the paint and the cross pieces came from Home Depot and the starfish I got online through a seashell distributor.
