For those of you that made or are making your own cardboxes - what did you cover the boxes in? Did you use fabric, paper, wallpaper? Or something else? I really want to make my own, but am pretty clueless!

What about wrapping paper? You can find almost any pattern and it comes in big rolls. Also, if you can't find one box big enough, stack a few with holes through the middles.

I ordered a set of square stackable boxes from Hofcraft.com. I'm only going to use the 3 largest boxes from the set. (They also have a set of round boxes)

I used Fabric... Pics in album... I found the boxes/Fabric in Hobby Lobby But its in PA.. The rest of the material (glue decor) here in Mchaels....
I think Fabric looks little btter but paper can be good too =-)

I got the boxes at ACMoor (they are in the wood supply aisle) I never would have looked there and FINALLY found them after roaming the store for an hour. I used fabric from JoAnn fabric and I used Elmers SPRAY glue. I started to use a liquid glue and it'd bled thru.

i made mine with fabric (pics in album)
i used spray adhesive which you can get at a craft store (michaels or acmoore) but you can also get it at Target (which is where i got it from)

Also try Homegoods- they already have a lot of boxes that can be stacked into card boxes. This si what I did. good luck!
