Just wondering if anyone else is doing their own centerpieces? I went to Michael's last week to get ideas and they said it might be better to wait until next July/August when the fall stuff goes out--they said they were sold out of a lot of stuff this year and it might be easier to wait till next year (who knew? =) I'm planning on a pumpkin/fall leaves/candles theme since I'm having a fall wedding. I am SO not crafty and neither is my mom, haha, so I'm worried. And for some reason I am obsessed with my centerpieces and doing it myself! =) I think I wanted a fall wedding just so I could have cool weather...and pumpkins ha

Hahaha I knew you guys would be awesome...so helpful =)
I actually googled a ton...I like a mixture of ceramic pumpkins with candles, maybe some with some fall foliage, and maybe some real pumpkins...I'm just worried because I am not usually good with this stuff but I am determined to do it =) Anyone planning on doing theirs themself?

Re: DIY Centerpieces
my BFF/MOH is getting married 10-10-10 (so soon) and she did her own.
she bought hurricane candle things from ac moore - got a candle - and filling them up w/ coffee beans... then is spreading fall colored leaves on the tables... really simple, but really ellegant...
she is also using them in the chapel where she gets married - hopefully people will really be able to smell the coffee.
some idas can be really easy - and some can get crazy so if you want to DIY just know your limitations.
