DIY Fan Programs

So I am making my Fan Programs.... It looks a little plain..... what can I add to spruce it up a little.

Maybe a glitter border and some ribbon (in your wedding colors of course) to hang off the handle.

I would also consider either painting the handle or perhaps wrapping it in ribbon with some hanging at the end.

The look great I think. I did these too -- I painted the handles white and then tied a ribbon around it - Made it look a little fancier.

Another suggestion is scalloping the edges. You can by the scalloped scissors for $2 at michaels or something.

We are making them too and are painting the handles white and wrapping ribbon around to tie a bow.

Hey, they look great. I so badly want to do fan programs. Can you please tell me how do you make them? Did you have to buy a program or something? Where do you buy the fans and the sticks? Please please please....I would love to do them!!!

the sticks I found at Walmart and the fan part i just created in Photoshop. I made both sides on one legal size paper (8/12 x14) and when I cut them out I just folded the paper around the stick and glued the sides together.
