DIY Help needed -Totes

I got these really cute (and really inexpensive )
Totes for my BMs and MOHs. I would like to personalize them with each girl's name on them. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi!
I just did my tote bags today, I posted pics on the 2011 board.
I did did them with iron on sheets. I used powerpoint to make designs, then save the whole thing as a jpeg and uploaded it to the website provided by the iron-on package.

FM in if you have any questions!

Re: DIY Help needed -Totes

You can do a goggle search for 'free wedding clip art' and a bunch come up. If you want the Love one that I did, FM me your email address and I will send you the file, its too big to send over FM and I cant remember which site I got it from.

Open powerpoint, on the first slide add text boxes and image boxes where ever you want. You can write what ever in the text box, play with size and color. For images, upload any clip art of pics you want. I just started playing around on powerpoint- you can change the background color, etc. Then, hit save as and change it from Save As Presentation to Save As JPEG. if it asks first slide only, hit yes. Then the whole thing will upload as a pic that you can do whatever you want with.

Or you can also print on the iron on transfer sheets from Michaels and then place then in different spots on the tote bags. For example, print out a name, iron it on the bag. Then print out a clip art of a bride, iron it on the bag in the corner, so that way more of the bag gets decorated. I didnt think of that when I did it, I just did one upload and ironed it on.

You can get the iron ons at Michaels- the ones you print from your printer.

Hope this Helps! Let me know if you have any questions and let us know how they turn out!
