so im a big fan of DIY projects & want to do as many as possible to save money & add personal touch to the reception. here are the DIY projects i have done/planning on doing:

We did invites, menus, OOT boxes, favors, programs, and personal notes to each guest, among a few other things.

i was thinking of doing the OOT bag things, but im just confused on when/where you give it to those guests & also knowing my family, the not OOT people will be upset they dont get anything special lol

we have our invites already & dont think we're doing favors - all the basic things we have vendors for... like flowers, invites, dj etc... so i'm trying to think of non vendor DIY things we can do to add a special touch!

oooo okay lets see...
menus for the tables...
petal cones for church if you want petals thrown...
programs for church (that is if ur gettin married in a church)
maybe piece together a board of pics or one big pic for people to sign at the wedding when they come in...( i had something like this at my eparty)

You leave those at the hotel so when people check-in that are part of your block - they get a bag.

I am going to attempt to do my petal cones, my mom is really creative when it comes to these things, so I have a feeling she will do alot of DIY's for me

ooooo ok - i dont think we're blocking off rooms b/c a lot of out OOT guests are family and will be staying with other family so booo to that!
