Re: DIY Invitations
I did a test run, pics in my album.. but I think I may just pay the extra money to have them made then to have the headache of doing it on my own.. it took me about an hour to make one!

Re: DIY Invitations
if you want to make them yourself, then KUDOS!!! i'm not good at things like this. just make sure you price it out, because sometimes, its more expensive to make them than to buy them

Re: DIY Invitations
I got pocketfold kits from Michael's (with a 60% off coupon)..decided we wanted black and white classic invites so I ordered the actual invite from Vista and I will print the inserts myself..we will see how they come out haven't made one yet

Re: DIY Invitations
i made ours myself (pics in album) but in no way did it save us any money... we could have bought invitations for the time and money it took us to make all of ours

Re: DIY Invitations
We decided to make our own invites. There are pics in my album. We didn't use a kit or anything, we actually measured out everything, cut them on a paper cutter and printed them ourselves too.
It was very ambitiious, but everyone who has seen them loves them and don't believe us that we did them ourselves. It was so worth the time to put them together.
We got the paper and the envelopes from paperandmore.com. We are going to have about 120 invites for under $300.
