I know some of you did DIY wedding invitations...and I will be attempting to do mine this week. I ordered a sample kit from cardsandpockets.com (which is absolutely amazing by the way) but my question is, what type of glue or adhesive did you use?
should I use a regular glue stick or is there something that will make the invitations look a lot neater?
Thanks...and wish me luck!!

Re: DIY Invitations
I ordered my invites from cards and pockets also, and I used glue dots. They worked the best. I got the metallic finish and glue stick did not work on them.

Re: DIY Invitations
There's craft glue made for paper & ribbon - it has a sponge-type top so you kind of brush it on. Pretty sure Michael's has it, it spreads an even layer so there's no bumps.
Not sure if you're doing crystals or anything like that, but E600 is awesome for that kind of stuff.
Good luck!

Hi Girls,

smart thing to get a head-start... my invites need to go out in a couple of months, and i just started working on them!
for adhesive, i'm using double-stick tape (except for the rhinestones - i'm using a special glue for that). the tape is great... very 'clean.'
the negatives? it's VERY time consuming to do it, and... i'm going through rolls like crazy! i have a couple of mock-ups in my albums... i'm going with the gold ones for my actual invites, though.
