Okay, I know that people have talked about this before, but how can I assemble my own invitations (buy everything a la carte), but get the lettering professionally done (thermography). My goal is to save money by assembling it myself but I keep hearing that most printing places will not print your invitations for you. How can I make this all work????? Please help

Re: DIY Invitations but w/thermography?????
What you could do is get the simplest all white invite and have them printed then mount them onto your own paper or pocketfold or whatever.
I am not really sure if this will save you any money in the long run since most of the cost comes from having to create a plate or template for the printing.... Also keep in mind that if you get the invites printed using their style/paper, it may be larger than you would typically use for mounting it on something and then you will need to size up in envelopes.
