I picked up some cardstock from AC Moore last night and FH and I were playing around trying to make our own invitations. The AC moore I went to did not have metallic cardstock but I think the final invitations will have the pink and brown in metallics. what do you think?

just ONE thing,.....the word 'vows' looks a little lonely on its own line. maybe you can move down the word 'marriage' so that line says 'marriage vows'
just a suggestion
but they look BEAUTIFUL!! !! they dont look DIY at all!!!

Actually FH new how to do that. I made the O in powerpoint, made it a very large size and changed it to the color and font I wanted, then saved it as a JPEG. Then we used word and inserted something called a watermark (search 'watermark' in microsoft word, it'll tell you how to get the jpeg from powerpoint as the watermark on your invitation)

Thanks for the tip, we'll try that. It won't look weird with the line above it ending in exchange?

I was thinking the same thing, but maybe put 'on' by itself and move up 'vows' to the line before?
fool around with a few different layouts.
the invite looks so professional though! wow!
