DIY invites?

DIY invites?

For those that did or are going to do their own invites, where did you buy paper, stickers, ribbons, etc?

I just got samples from paper source and I hate hate hate the colors. They were so drab and dark, even the metalics.

Anyone try to print on metalic paper? Any trouble with inkjet?

Check out Paper Presentation on 18th street in the city. THey have a huge selection of paper colors and textures. I printed on a laser printer and the metallics look great, but you can buy just a few loose pieces and try out some samples. For ribbons and embellishments like that, I think AC Moore had the best selection and prices

I used a mix from Staples, Stampin Up (which is like tupperware for scrapbooking supplies) and Michael's.

Try paper.com and paper-paper.com, look for a heavy stock and see if you can get samples.

You can try Papersandmore.com or go to PaperPresentation in Manhattan.
Ribbons and stickers, go to a Michael's Store.

I think you are better off printing on Laser printers, not sure how the ink jet will work on the metallic papers.
