DIY Invites...

For those of you who DIY invites. Where did u get them printed on your own printer? I really wanted to have invites with Raised writing but I have no idea where I can have this done.
Also, how do you do the little pocket for the response cards, reception cards… Is it part of the kit? It's so practical cuz that way the attachments don't fall out as soon as ppl open up the envelope
I’m going to Michael’s today to check out their kits.

I did my own and printed them at home. It's not with raised printing though. I did an embossing design to give it a raises look, which really dresses up the invite. The pockets i ordered from paperandmore.com. you can see pics in my album under diy.

Yup I saw your DIY in another post and you're the one who inspired me
So the whole invite is a kit from paperandmore.com and you just printed what u wanted on it or did u assemble and design it entirely?

Re: DIY Invites...

I only ordered the pockets from paperandmore.com. I bought the cardstock from Office Depot and printed and cut everything myself and then assembled them. To be honest, it was very easy even with the design. It was just time consuming. But if you have an idea of what you want to do then it should go smoothly.

FM me if you need any help

ETA: It's nice to know that my amateur(sp?) crafts can inspire someone. I have definitely been inspired by ALOT of brides on here. So thank you very much for the compliment.

Do u maybe have pictures of how everything looked before the assembly? It's hard for me to even imagine how this perfect invite looked disassembled...

I did my own invites and it was such a labor of love! Worth every penny and every laugh and argument we had doing the project!

I didn't have the raised lettering because I figured its not that big of a deal to me. I just printed them on my inkjet printer and had no problems.

I bought the pocketfold rather than making it out of paper. It was a lot easier I would be more than happy to share how I did and everything else with you. FM me if you want help!

Pics of me and FH and my parents assemblying the invite in my album. Pics of how the invite turned out also in there as well.

I did my own invites too. I got thermographic print which is raised on my metallic paper. I went to Minuteman press and it cost me around $400 for 200 invites, rsvp cards, outer envelopes and return envelopes. They came out really nice..eventually i will post pics I just haven't taken pics yet. hopefully, sometime this week.
