Has anyone used the Michaels invitation kits? I have seen so many nice kits but not sure if anyone used them or how they turn out....
I am thinking of making my own programs using one of the Michaels kits but invitations sound risky...
Just wondering if anyone has used them..

Re: DIY invites
I am using the Brides Magazine one from Michaels. The instructions are super easy, but I hated the envelopes it came with so I ordered new ones.

Re: DIY invites
At the Michael's by me in Bay Shore, they didn't have all of the colors of the Brides invite kits, which was really disappointing. They had samples of every Brides invite kit available, but they didn't have the blues, pinks, or purples that were there.
Is that their subtle way of telling customers that you have to special order them?

I went to the one in Westbury and didnt have a problem. They had a bunch in stock, but we did buy all four boxes of the ones I needed. Not sure if they had any in the back or not.

Re: DIY invites
I love the ivory ones and the brown ones ( they go with the colors of my bridal party )
Have any of you made them and have a pic ??
Do you need a special printer?
I am debating if this is the cheaper way to go since prob uses alot of ink

These are the ones I used and I printed on a inkjet printer. The envelopes, on the other hand, are silver and the print comes off, which is why I ordered new envelopes. The envelopes were like $12-$13 for a pack of 100.
ETA sorry here is the pic
