DIY Invites

Its good that you started early so you can get things done little by little, so you are not 8 weeks out and having sleepless nights.

Send a practice invite to a close by relative so you can make sure that your work stays intact through the mail process

If you are gluing things, use a hot glue gun or these things called glue dots. I heard they worked great

Make sure you bought extra paper just in case you make a mistake or your printer eats the invite. My printer ate an envelope yesterday...we are not speaking

Did you buy a kit or are you making them completely from scratch?

you can totally do it. i did it mostly by myself (except assembling them) and it wasn't hard at all. i just did it bit by bit. it's totally doable! also there are a lot of great online resources for papers, etc. i used cardsandpockets.com and they have lots to choose from for great prices! pictures of mine are in my album. and of course, if you have questions, i'd be happy to help you out!

OMG! Start now!!! I started mine early and made the stupid mistake of not getting enough paper and my printer goes and eats like 8 papers! i had to order more paper and am impatenently waiting for it to arrive!!! I need to send these craps out asap... also, get a heardstart on the guestlist.. this is what really messed me up.. my FILs didnt send me their guests names till so last mintue, that I have to wait now because I mailed the envelopes out to print. ... I just want to cry...

anyway, back to you... look around to see what you like and then figure out how to make them, what you will need.. I did a pocketfold invite.. sample in my album, FM if you need anything
