DIY Invites

So I finally started my DIY invites on this lazy Sunday!!!!

I must say, I think they came out really good! FH and I were hesitant on DIY invites, but they are very easy to print and assemble!

This is going to save us a lot of money!!!

Re: DIY Invites

Does 'Declines with regrets' sound right? I got it from the Wedding Paper Divas website, but for some reason it doesn't sound right to me. Should it be 'Declines with regret'?

Re: DIY Invites

I think you could word it either way, I googled it and it came up with both.
Your invites came out great! You printed them at home? Where did you get the kits from?

Re: DIY Invites

yes the wording is proper...it is either DECLINE w/ REGRET or DECLINES w/ REGRETS apparently LOL...ps they look awesome!

whoa you did that yourself! They came out really nice! I'm scared to see what invites are going to wind up costing. i hear they can get very expensive! So smart to make them yourself!

Re: DIY Invites

Thanks girls!!!!

I actually bought them from Michael's (the BRIDES collection). They are $39.99 for a box of 30.

Michael's always has 40% or 50% off coupons, so I can get them for a lot cheaper! It's totally worth it!!

Re: DIY Invites

Really nice... I have a question because we are thinking about trying to to DIY too --- is the actual invite thick or is it light??

Re: DIY Invites

That was one reason I was nervous about doing the invitations myself, I was afraid the paper would be thin and look cheap!

I am soooo impressed with the quality! The paper is really thick and sturdy!! You definitely can't tell they were only $39.99!!

Here is another picture of our actual invitation. FH and I played around with the bow and thought this looked REALLY classy!

FH is like Martha Stewart, he always comes up with great ideas, LOL!!!

ooooh!!!!REALLY pretty!!!!!!! You guys did such a great job. I totally can't see us spending hundreds of dollars on paper that ends up in the garbage.
