DIY Invites

Hi! Happy gorgeous day out.

For everyone that did or is doing their own invites, did you use a pocket for your invites?

Hopefully the pic attaches. HOw did you go about doing this? Did you do it yourself, buy them online, etc?

I went to a company in Roslyn, NY. They were the worst company in the world. It was a total waste of money. The owner forgot at least 3 of my invitations, printed one off backwards, and didnt even seal the envelopes correctly. The feeling of the invitations is so poorly made. She never even showed me a sample. If you have any questions please send me a message.

i did pockets and included a couple of inserts to fit the size of the pocket. i did a lot of layering, which was SOOOO time-consuming! pics are in my album (i ended up going with the gold-ish ones, not the silver.

some people on here do the cards themselves and they turn out great, are less expensive than had they purchased them pre-made, and they they felt it was worth their time. for me, it was just way too much time, and the end result - while i like them - doesn't reflect all the time & energy (and money!) i put into them. you live, you learn!! :-P
