depending on how you do your invite, you can just type it up in word how you want it. All you'll have to do is go to file then page set up and set the paper to the measurements you need and then just make it look the way you want. The font and all that. Are you planning on doing any flourishes or scroll designs on the invite itself?

I did a 3 layer invite with rhinestone buckle so the verse part itself didnt do alot of designs or any of that.

But you can add borders to your invite or other graphics, just depends what you want to do.

I really like the 3 layer invites with buckles. Maybe alittle design on it but not much. I didnt realize you could just do it on word. I thought there was a different program you would have to buy.

I am doing them in word - Invites and programs but am afraid to print them out myself so am probably going to bring the disc to staples or something like that and have them print it out

yeah just do it on word, dont spend more money for any programs. Bc when you think about it the layer with the verse just has the invite typed out really so not much to it. You'll just have to figure out which font you want.

oh and here is the best tip i can give you. When you buy the cardstock, have them cut it to the size you need, that was the best thing. I had a paper cutter at home but not that great and took time. The paper store cut ALL the paper for me, the reply card, reception card, and all 3 layers and only cost me $6 to do ALL of them and took them just minutes to do it all. Will save you time, and $6 for them to do it is cheaper than a paper cutter

yeah they are very helpful and the lady stayed with me and helped me with all my questions. ALso they have other stuff there just so you know. Placecards, guestbooks, all supplies you need for making your invites, boxes and more. Also permanent double sided tape is great if you do layer invites or pocketfolds. Its what you use to attach one paper to another and works perfect. Even when i ordered sample invites, i took them apart and all the companies also used permanent double sided tape.

The ribbon here though is expensive, so didnt buy it from here. I went to wholesale district and on 28th street and 6th avenue there is a wholesale store called B&J wholesale supply and bought the ribbon there. THey have walls and walls of ribbon and much better price.

we did DIY invites for our e-party and the printer would only let us print 5 per hour for some reason and by the time it was all over we told each other that we would only do pro printing..not like $$ but we dont have patience
