Anyone have any advice/suggestions/etc for how to do their own invites/programs...basically, I know NOTHING!! :o) Any and all resources and advice are greatly appreciated!! Thanks
Well i did all of my own stuff. I found it wasiest to by a DIY kit that had EVERYTHING in it from Gartner studios. It had Invites, response cards, placecards, programs, envelopes and the seals for the envelopes included. My advice is by the Invites first if you are doing pocketfolds then measure them. I made my own pocketfolds also. I sent the measurements to Tom at Anchor paper and he figured out what paper size i needed and i ordered it from them (I had to fold and glue them, but it was easy). Then i figured out how i was going to embellish them, I did mine with rhinestones and ribbon and a rhinestone buckle (Pics in my albums). All in all i had $147 in 100 Invites. Oh and I printed mine at home on a ink jet printer, they came out fine, but if you use metallic paper for them a laser jet is best or the ink doesn't dry properly.
