DIY invititations
Any tips to DIY invites? Specifically pocket invites. I got a quote for $1,200 plus tax for pretty basic invites and can't imagine spending that much on paper! Any and all suggestions appreciated!

I've been searching on Etsy for PDF files of invitation suites and then I will probably use Cards and Pockets to have them printed and get all of the envelopes.

We did our own invitations and ordered the cardstock and envelopes from Cards and Pockets. Very affordable and quick shipping.

This is our plan as well. You can definitely do it yourself for way less. I priced out cards and pockets and before printing it was about $300 for all the stationary including envelopes, enclosures, and two layered backings. I didn't price out the pocket folds though because I don't think we're gonna do them.

Did cards and pockets print them for you?

Good question! I'm interested to know as well. Also, what is a reasonable price for a PDF template on etsy? I've seen some for $8.00 and some for $37.00. And when you buy the pdf template, can it only be used on certain templates on cards and pockets?
I would really like to save some money and use this route, but I'm not the most tech savvy!

We got our pocket folder, envelopes, tissues, belly band & monogram 2x2 to go over from cardsandpockets website. Then I got the invitations & rsvp frm davids bridal in petite size. Everything is on shimmer paper. I spend abt $450 for 125 before stamp.

I'm working with Epicure and they are amazing! She is designing and printing the invites and envolopes and I have to put the three layers together. Stephaine(the owner) is giving me all the materials and demonstration to do so. 150 invites for $800.
