DIY Ladies

What is the best kind of glue to use to make my menu's?

This all taped together as a 'mock' copy of what i want it to look like and the ribbon is just piece tapped to the back as of now, lol. But I dont want to be able to see the glue through the metallic white??? or have them peel apart.

I would use a double sided glue runner. My favorite is Tombo mono-adhesive - permanent (NOT REMOVABLE or REPOSITIONABLE)

Michaels and AC Moore have them... so does Stampin' Up!

Re: DIY Ladies

wait, is the metallic white a vellum? or a paper?
(and for the ribbon if you need an extra little something in there, I use a mini glue dot on the reverse side of the knot)

No it's paper, its cardstock text paper, and the grey is carstock thicker paper.

If that makes sense, lol.

I know i have Michaels here in Texas not sure about AC Moore, but we have a Hobby Lobby!

I guess it's Tombow:

or you can go to stampinup.com and get it too...
They call it SNAIL and it's black there

And they have refills, so you really only need one dispenser, and then a bunch of refills... I swear by them....

Re: DIY Ladies

sorry... forgot to add, it won't show through the paper... it's not really a TAPE, more just the sticky part of the tape.

You might want to just adhere the ribbon to the back of the menu though since your ribbon is pretty smooth, anything might show up and pucker it (except for teh knot part)
