DIY Menu Girls....

I have been getting my paper cut at Staples for all of my paper cutting (Layered Ceremony Programs).... I have never had any issues...

For my menu... it seems the paper has been crooked and it especially stands out because of the border.. Has anybody else experienced this?

Re: DIY Menu Girls....

i ordered all of my paper pre-cut from cutcardstock.com. So i didn't have to get my stuff cut at staples.

If you are really not liking it....go to
Cut Cardstock
and see if you can find paper you like. The paper is great quality, ships fast, and pretty cheap!

i had some issues with this when I did my STD's. So I just got everything printed at Staples and cut everything down myself. I don't think most people will notice if something is off but it just annoyed me so I figured the only way to do it and be happy with the outcome was to do it myself.

Re: DIY Menu Girls....

im DIYing my invites and decided to get it all cut at staples bc i saved a boatload of $ doing it that way....they messed up just about every single piece of paper....it was such a nightmare, I can't even begin to tell you how stressed out i was....(over paper, so pathetic)

butttttt thankfully they were nice and made it up to me

this sounds so stupid, but they said that the paper cuts on an angle, so the top sheet will be the size you requested but all the others will gradually get smaller (or could be vice versa i guess). Some of the ppl that work there understand that and will make sure to straighten out the blade, but I guess others don't or just don't care...if you're going to reorder the paper, just order it precut from the site you're ordering from and save yourself the hassle
