Okay, a trip to Michael's and my date twin Michelle's DIY menu gave me some ideas. So, I bought 12'x12' cardstock in my dress color (which I have to get up here eventually somehow), white cardstock, and translucent paper. I still need to find the right sheer ribbon, though. I don't want another blue ribbon--maybe silver to match the guys' vests and ties. I wanted to do something like this picture on the bottom, except that I would put a piece of translucent paper over the top and tie the ribbon in a bow instead of two knots. My second idea is at the bottom: make the menu tea length (since we have a ton of entree choices) and again, translucent paper over the top. Which one do you like better?
Would it look okay with a translucent sheet over it, or as is?

I personally like it as is...why use those - they're an extra cost and not necessary. Just my opinion though.

Now, I have to decide what color ink to use. . .since I just bought blue cardstock. Maybe I should still print it in black since I don't think silver/gray would come out on white? Then, I can use a silver sheer ribbon to tie onto the card.
