DIY MENU questions

I have a laser printer and an ink jet, does it matter which printer i use for different papers?

what did you use to attach 2 papers together (like a backing color)

were you able to get the paper to size (that long rectangular sheet) or did you cut them to size? ( i do have a paper cutter so its not a prob if i have to cut them)

OH AND CAN YOU PLEASE POST YOUR DIY MENUES???? THANKS

TIA

Re: DIY MENU questions

i'm not sure if the printer type matters - but for all the things i printed myself - i used an 8X11 paper size & cut things down from there.

for our programs - i used.... oh crapola....what's the word???? the little things at the top of the page...

Re: DIY MENU questions

I used the color laser printer at work just so I could print them out all at once. I bought ivory paper to print the menu on and mounted them on dark brown cardstock with glue dots, punched two holes in the top and tied a brown ribbon through it.

I did two on a page, landscape, and did have to cut both papers to fit since they were both 8 1/2 x 11.

ETA: I'll try to post a pic tonight.

Re: DIY MENU questions

i used duck brand permanent glue lines to glue the 2 layers together snd that stuff was awesome! i got it at joanns but im sure michaels and ac moore has it. its like one of thise white out tape dispensers.

as for a printer. I used an unk jet, but if u have a lazer- it would use that it will work with most papers like metalics.
