Okay so Im realizing that I have 486 more days until my wedding. I still have so much to do. I think Im going to attempt to make my own momogram cake topper with the crystals on it. Now...for those of you that have done it I have a few questions:
Where did you get the letters from Where did you get the Crystals from How hard was/is it?

I got both from e-bay
I got a 7' wood letter for the middle and (2) 4' for the sides. They were $15 for all 3
The crystals I got as well from the following: Crystals

Someone said that they had purchased the letters on ebay (plain, then added crystals later)...I went on and found plain letters but didn't think that it was so much cheaper to do it myself than to buy them done already...I ended up buying them done already for about 45.00. Not too bad.

Yeah I got wood. The thing with the Metal is, if you are not having a fondant cake it might not stand. That is why I got the wood. I am going to paint them and then apply the crystals.
The wood has wax protection on the bottom so nothing will get in the cake

For the cake topper itself, the ebay seller is: guy72830.. the initials cost 49.99 but no S/H..
For the swarvoski crystals, the seller is: designer_trends_by_tami.. The price depends on the size you buy. I got 3 different sizes and colors. Sizes, 12, 16, and 20. And I ordered one pack in each size, but then I asked Tami if I had enough, and I didn't.. I ended up ordering too much I think, but I say go with at least 2 packs of 2 different colors and one of the other, I only had one pack of the larger crystal.
On her site she sells a kit, and the glue she uses is E6000. Well, michael's sell the large tube for under $4.. Totally worth it. The only thing is that you end up using alot b/c it dries fast...
