DIY not so easy haha

soo i thought for my thank you cards from the engagement party we would make some copies of some of the photos of our guests to enclose in the cards as memories from the day...when i told FH that, he somehoe misunderstood me and thought we should put a picture of the two of us in the card...and by in the card he meant like a photo insert card...i was looking into purchasing these and i found photo frame cards for 1 dollar a piece plus shipping...like 70 bucks...then i started thinking i should just do it myself somehow...how hard could it be...well after two trips to michaels and nearly 70 dollars later, i probably should have just bought the damn cards...it's not that i'm not creative but the vision i had in my head x 2 did not exactly pan out...i would up finally using minimum 15 dollars worth of stuff and now i have all this crafty sh*t opened, tested and not used...LOL...all i have to say is BUYER BEWARE...if your DIY project doesn't come out right the first time, you might wind up spending the same or even more then to just buy something pre-made...

i mean not for nothing, they came out cute i guess, more trouble then what it was worth though...i just hope they don't look too tacky...grrr
