So I need help ladies....does anyone have directions on how to make petal cones for the church? I was going to buy them but everyone has been telling me how easy they are to make. Also, what paper do you need to use?

Check the DIY board, I think there is instructions over there. As far as materials, some people use vellum.

Petal Cones: I bought 12x12 scrap book paper on sale from Michaels. I cut it down to 6x6 and made it into a cone. First I took blank paper and played with it until I got the perfect curve. I think put them all through the printer, printed our monogram on it, then used a template to cut them all down so that they would be curved on top. I used both double stick tape and invisible tape to roll them into cones. (the invisible tape went on the inside)

I used ivory resume paper from Staples. I used MS Word. I inserted a circle (using the drawing toolbar) and inside on the top center of the circle, I inserted a textbox and wrote our names and wedding date in a script font. I printed it, cut out the circle, and shaped the circle into a cone and taped it. I have pictures of the finished cones in my album. Good luck!!!!
