I started to make my pew cones and I must say I am really excited about how they came out. They are in the same light blue color cardstock as my programs and place cards..my BMs dresses are ice blue. I have affixed swarovski crystals along the length of the cone since crystals are the running theme of my wedding. (I was even so crazed that I glued on individual crystals to the fake stephanotis in the flowers) What do you think?
Your silk flowers look great! Where did you purchase them from?

Re: DIY pew cones
Could you please post all the details of what you used, size of paper used, what you used to hold them together etc. I am trying to make some of these too and not having much luck. Thank you!

Re: DIY pew cones
I used 12X12 paper cardstock that I bought online from www.paper-source.com. I rolled the paper into cones and stapled the very top edge. I then hot-glued where the paper met and ran a line of hot glue along the seam to attach the ribbon. I used silk flowers that came in bunches and pulled the flowers off the stems and glued them along the inside edge of the cone. I would suggest stuffing tishue paper inside the cone so that the flowers don't slip inside too much and appear full at the top. I used a hole punch along the top to run the ribbon through so that they hang in the back.
Good luck! Amy

Re: DIY pew cones
Thank you so much! I am making these for my daughter's wedding & was having trouble figuring out how to form the cone. I want to use ribbon to do it but can't get a hole punched far enough in to get the look that I want {ed} I will prob just use your method. Thank you so much for sharing! Your's look GREAT by the way!!

Re: DIY pew cones
I really like the cones! Here are my pew buckets!! :)
Wow..your buckets came out great. my inspiration was the idea of the pail, but I ordered the card stock for another project and had so much left over...I decided to go with a cone.
