DIY photo montage?

Im thinking of creating my own photo montage instead of having my Dj do it. Does anyone know which computer program I would use?

I use this program called Memories on Tv, but you have to pay for it (luckily my uncle gave me his code). Try Photoshop. They have a slideshow program. It works pretty well.

I want to buy one of those digital picture frames and just have the photo montage rolling throughout the reception.
