DIY Place cards

Hi girls..

So.. i really want to look smart by pulling off some good DIY projects at our wedding. I thought I'd start by spicing up our simple tent placecards by adding something to it.

I wanted to get some ideas on what's quick and easy and but also looks good. haha.. i'm asking a lot right?

I have ~ 300 guests and so dont want to do the votive placeholders. Any other ideas/suggestions

For my placecards, I got small white glossy boxes, filled them with candy and put a tag on them with the name and table number.
I dont have a pic though, sorry

Mine will be like these, but I only have 100 guests. It also depends on your theme and colors. My them is sophisticated summer and my colors are ivory, black and apple green
