DIY Placecards- Hurray! *Updated w/directions
Hey I finished making the backs of my placecards- they will be all ready when its time!
They are not hard at all! I am artistically challenged. I saw them done in a much more complicated way and couldn't do it so I tried to make it easier. Here are the steps.
1. Choose your accent color for your background paper. Cut the 8.5x11 paper in half and then in half again using a a paper cutter.
2. Fold the little quarter sheets in half and then punch each corner with a corner punch. (They have at least 5 different varieties at Michael's. Just make sure it is a CORNER punch.
3. This holds a business card perfectly. I just bought the perforated business cards from Staples and will type people's names on there with their tables.
4. Then you rip apart the business cards and slide them into the slots. Glue a mini-monogram on the back if you want, and you are finished!
