DIY Pocketfold Invite Price Comparison

For 125 Invitation Sets (2 Pieces of Paper for a Layered Invite, The Pocketfold, Exterior Invite Envelope, RSVP Cards and Envelopes & 125 pieces of cardstock for programs):

Envelopeme.com- $367.50

Paper-Source.com- $358

Cardsandpockets.com- $338.75 Includes 125 Insert
Cards for Directions.

Is this consistent with what the rest of you all estimated????? I'd still need to get printer ink, ribbon and postage. But, I'm wondering how this cost compares to having a company do this all for me.

Maybe I'm wrong?!?!?!?!? I have No Idea what components I need other than those listed. This might be the bane of my existence.

go back and check if you have everything.

That would mean each pocketfold is less than $3 each at that price for 125 invites. The lowest i found it for was for $5.50 each. The rest i saw were usually around $8-10 each

but it might be right, that would be a great price

you could cut the cost more by cutting the paper for the layers. But it is more labor. You can get a good paper cutter for $12 ish.

Or buy the paper whole and have it cut to order at Staples/Kinko's for seriously like $10. I would call them ask how much to have the cardstock cut for you.

you asked what the difference is if you get a company to do it all for you and thats the price i gave you...so if you're buying just supplies it will be different than the price you posted

Re: DIY Pocketfold Invite Price Comparison

cardsandpockets.com:
each pocketfold was $1
each 4.5X6.5 mat was .27
each 4.75 X 6.75 mat was .35
RSVP cards @ .20
RSVP evelope @ .15
Invitation Envelope @ .15
Insert Cards for .27
Cardstock @ .32

Can anyone else tell me if they used this company and what there costs were.

there are some ebay sellers that give you a better price but still for 125 dont think it would be about $350. Ive been searching alot and even on discount sites to see how much pocketfolds cost. You can check yourself and see what you find. But even $700 for that many pocketfolds is on the lower end. Many of them are even $1000 and up.

I bought 90 pocketfolds from cardsandpockets and 90 main invite mats (a green metallic cardstock to go behind the main invite) for $145. I bought envelopes (rsvp and the main ones) on Ebay for $30 and I bought the ribbon I needed on the outside for $30.

As for the paper for the inserts, I bought packs of 100 sheets of cardstock on paperandmore.com It costs cheaper there than on cardsandpockets. The only difference is I have to cut it myself.

Overall our invites only cost $250.
